The Provo Golf and Country Club The Provo Golf and Country Club located in Providenciales has been called “the jewel in the Turks and Caicos’ crown,” and it’s easy to see why. This 18-hole course accepts both residents and non-residents and has been named one of the Top 10 Golf Courses in the Caribbean by Travel & Leisure Magazine. The course has hosted the Caribbean Amateur Championships twice and has been given a four-star rating from Golf Digest Magazine.The course at Provo Golf Club is perfect for any fan of the sport. The holes are challenging but not impossible and the scenery is ideal with over 1000 palm trees, 11 lakes and more than 20 species of migrating birds. The facilities also include a practice green and chipping areas as well as warm-up driving nets. If you’re a beginner to the golf game, PGA Professionals provide lessons and programs designed to improve your skills.If the rest of your crew doesn’t want to golf, the Country Club has tennis facilities with clinics and programs facilitated by local tennis pros. Waterloo Golf Club

This 9-hole course is located on the grounds of the Office of the Governor of Turks and Caicos Islands and the green fees are only $25 per day for unlimited play. You should call ahead and make a reservation to ensure that you get to play; space is limited and only 36 golfers are allowed to play at the same time. Bring your own clubs in case the facility’s clubs-for-rent are depleted at your tee time. This beachside course hosts several tournaments and competitions throughout the year.

Fun World

For families living in or visiting Turks and Caicos, head to Fun World in Providenciales. This 18-hole miniature golf course sits on a 1.5 acre landscaped lot with waterfalls, bunkers and a pond. This facility also contains a Grand Prix “Go Cart” race track and a video game arcade. A bar and grill complete with karaoke performances and a large selection of food and drinks are also available if you work up an appetite.
