“Working with Blair exceeded any of our expectations. Having dealt with a previous agent who we had to chase down for answers this was a refreshing change. To have an attentive agent who not only answers your questions but goes above and beyond.. this was a great experience. As a first time out of country home buyer, we were not familiar with the terminology, or the best process or what resources to involve. Right away Blair was incredibly friendly and took time to sit down with us via phone (Turks to Canada) to determine what would be a good fit for us in advance of our trip. He even recommended a lawyer and property maintenance companies for us to speak to and a local restaurant/shopping to try while we were in the area, which we ended up going to and it was fabulous.
Blair was willing to meet us over Christmas, and worked to make sure our schedule could accommodate, and put together the offer letter Christmas Eve. He was very helpful in explaining the entire process and really relieved our stress level even though we were on a very tight time frame. I truly believe his expertise helped tremendously in our offer getting accepted. And although our offer didn’t work out ( totally on our side) he was helpful and gracious in dealing with us and the situation. I highly recommend Blair! We will 100% use Blair again and recommend him. He truly goes above and beyond, he is friendly and down to earth and he knows Turks inside and out. It was an added bonus he is Canadian and has an understanding of our real estate system here. There are no surprises. “When we first decided to buy a condo in Turks and Caicos we were a little nervous, but then we met Thomas Waite from Re/Max Real Estate Group. He took us out and showed us properties and also gave us a tour of the island pointing out different things like good restaurants, grocery stores, beaches etc. He listened to what we said after each property which is so important in a realtor. Ultimately he found us the perfect condo. When it came time for the price negotiation, he was very knowledgable about pricing and negotiation and was able to negotiate for us a great price. After we closed (everything went smoothly thanks to him) when we decided to do a renovation on the condo little did we know that he has a background in this field and has many connections on the island and in Florida for both the renovation portion and the shipping of appliances, tiles, bathroom fixtures, etc from Florida to Turks and Caicos. (If your not aware buying anything on the Island is extremely expensive and he got us great prices on everything) Thomas walked us through the shipping process and he introduced us to a great contractor on the Island and helped us go through each portion of their estimate. We could never have done this renovation without his expertise. If you are looking for a full service realtor Thomas is your guy. He’s smart, knowledgable and kind.
